Snapshot Tool
No more fumbling with screenshots – use the Snapshot tool to capture a chosen frame along with helpful information. The tool is perfect for saving and sharing data, and snapshots can also include any annotations and measurements created within that frame.
The footer of the snapshot will include:
- The snapshot location
- The author
- The workspace
How to Create a Snapshot
1. Pause the video, and click the camera icon at the bottom of the video player.
2. Edit the title and subtitle (these fields are automatically populated with the session ID, name, and the date and time of the recording).
3. By default, the snapshot location is set according to your AIVR account user preferences. You can choose to add any of the following:

- Latitude and Longitude
- ELR (Engineer’s Line Reference)
- Mile and Chain
- Mile and Yard
- Mile and Meterage
- What3Words
- Easting and Northing
4. Finally, choose whether to copy the snapshot to your clipboard or download it.
