One Big Circle Partners with Global Leader Loram to Accelerate Expansion
One Big Circle is proud to announce a strategic partnership with global rail maintenance leader LORAM Maintenance of Way – an exciting milestone that will accelerate the international expansion of our multi-award-winning Automated Intelligent Video Review (AIVR) technology.
The collaboration includes US-headquartered Loram taking a minority investment in One Big Circle, marking a significant vote of confidence in our technology and growth potential. Together, we will combine AIVR’s technology with Loram’s extensive international reach and deep expertise in delivering advanced railway maintenance and monitoring solutions worldwide.

One Big Circle co-founders Barnaby, Ian, Sam and Emily at Bristol Temple Meads – the city where AIVR was built.
Developed in the UK and widely adopted across the Network Rail-managed network, AIVR has transformed how railway infrastructure is monitored. Using automated data capture, intelligent analysis, and streamlined reporting, AIVR helps engineers detect issues faster, improve safety and maintain the reliability of rail networks.

This partnership will enable our proven technology to reach rail operators around the world – bringing the benefits of AIVR to new markets and networks globally.
Importantly, our full team remains in place in Bristol and Derby. We will continue delivering the same high-quality services, innovation and support to our clients across the UK rail network, exactly as usual.

AIVR gives engineers instant access to track video, data and reporting.
Brad Willems, CEO of Loram:
“We are thrilled to partner with One Big Circle. AIVR has already shown tremendous value within the UK, and we look forward to bringing this proven innovation to customers around the world. Together we aim to deliver world-class technology that enhances the safety, efficiency and performance of global rail operations.”
Loram Maintenance of Way – a global leader in railway maintenance machinery and services – will play a key role in driving AIVR’s adoption and integration across international rail markets.
Emily Kent, Co-Founder of One Big Circle:
“This is an exciting milestone for One Big Circle. Our collaborative approach to deploying this technology across the UK rail industry has demonstrated how AIVR can transform the way railways are monitored and maintained.
Having Loram invest as partners now allows us to take this British-developed technology to international markets while continuing to deliver the high-quality service and innovation that the UK rail industry relies on. We will continue to build our expertise here in the UK, creating more job opportunities and bringing more talent into the industry.”
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital transformation across the global rail sector, and underlines the growing international demand for British rail innovation.
