Introducing the Signal Search Tool on AIVR

Introducing the latest enhancement to the AIVR Platform: the ‘Assets Tab’ for Signals. Building on AIVR’s existing capabilities, this innovative feature was designed with users in mind, and is set to refine how users access and analyse signals across the UK rail network. The search tool aims to aid users with signal sighting, site surveys and more, providing faster and more efficient insights than ever before.

What is the Signal Search Tool on the AIVR Platform?

Powered by AIVR’s advanced machine learning models, the Signal Assets section automatically catalogs detected signals from across the UK and consolidates them into one centralised area, making it an invaluable tool for Signal Sighters and other rail professionals.

By eliminating the need to attend sites or sift through hours of footage, this feature dramatically improves efficiency and safety. Users can effortlessly locate and analyse signals, saving time while enhancing operational workflows.

Key Features:

  • Effortless Signal Search
Quickly locate signals using their Signal Asset ID, saving valuable time and effort. With an intuitive search interface, users can find exactly what they need.
  • Advanced Filtering Options
Narrow down results by timeframe, ELR (Engineer’s Line Reference), and other criteria to get precise insights tailored to your needs. The filtering system ensures that users can focus on the most relevant data.
  • Team Collaboration Tools
Enhance teamwork with shared notes on signals of interest, ensuring communication and collaboration for streamlined decision making.
  • Historical Comparisons
Monitor signal changes over time. AIVR showcases each time a signal has been observed, curating a historical library of that signal to aid historical comparisons.

This tool is already in use across the industry and has recently proved invaluable in identifying when a signal had fallen over, enabling a faster and more efficient investigation of the issue.
