Business Developer

Are you keen to establish or further your career in Business Development within an innovative and fast-moving tech Start-up? Role Summary

As specialists in ‘Intelligent Video’, we are at the forefront of video software and hardware capability and have developed our innovative AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review) system which is being widely used across the UK rail industry and is ready to be deployed in a range of other environments. Your role would be to find new opportunities to generate revenue using our AIVR capability.

You must have the ability to work autonomously with drive and enthusiasm, but you will be supported in order to achieve your objectives. You should have the confidence to make industry connections and explore multiple opportunities. You will be part of a small but dedicated specialist team where your contribution and input will make a difference every day.

You should have some industry experience already and a strong interest in Business Development. You may have existing experience in BD, but are looking for a new challenge or have a career in the transport sector and considering a new direction in building business opportunities. If you are confident, proactive and dynamic we are keen to hear from you.


– Ability to identify and qualify BD opportunities for AIVR
– Ability to quantify commercial and operational benefits to potential clients
– Writing and submitting bids, quotations and/or business cases
– Confidence in demonstrating the AIVR system and Platform online and in person (with full training provided)
– Ability to attend online and in person events for demonstrations and networking
– Ability to collate and quantify client feedback to input into product development and system enhancements
– Ability to contribute to AIVR and OBC collateral as required
– Ability to time manage, plan and estimate tasks, and communicate effectively

Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our fast-paced and growing team working on a broad range of technologies in the intelligent video space. Our culture is all about working collaboratively to deliver cutting-edge, robust solutions that meet the real-world challenges that our clients face.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering software solutions in multiple languages/technology stacks, from embedded industrial systems to web backend application servers. Our current projects and products are all heavily Python based but experience with C++, Objective-C, Kotlin and Javascript are also valuable.

You will get to work on some really exciting projects. There is always something new going on, and we move at a very fast pace, so you will be able to continuously learn and improve new skills and experience new technologies to further your career and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
– Deliver software solutions on new and existing projects, ensuring compliance to project requirements, budgets and timeline.
– Continuously work to improve our engineering processes and procedures.
– Communicate proactively with other team members to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions and unblock technical issues.
– Take ownership of complex technical problems.
– Carry out appropriate testing and quality assurance.
– Assist with application support where necessary.
– Carry out research in order to make well informed technical decisions.
– Provide accurate budget/time estimations for technical tasks.
– Identify and mitigate technical project risks.
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
– Excellent problem-solving skills, both as part of a team and individually.
– Minimum five years experience delivering software projects in an industrial environment.
– Strong written communication skills.
